Irrigation Rate 17

Schedule IR-18, Replacing Schedule IR-09

Applicability

Applicable to consumers contracting for use of electric power for irrigation pumping service on an annual basis. 

Type of Service

Single-phase, 60 cycles, at available secondary voltage. 

Rate 

For Bills rendered for usage in April-September (in-season) 

Fixed Charge per month: $40.00
PLUS 
Demand Charge per month: $10.00 per kW of billing demand
PLUS
Energy Charge: 12.5193 cents per kWH for all kWh

For Bills rendered for usage in October-March (out-of-season) 

Fixed Charge per month: $10.00
PLUS 
Demand Charge per month: $2.20 per kW of billing demand
PLUS
Energy Charge: 12.5193 cents per kWH for all kWh

Minimum Monthly Charge

The minimum monthly charge shall be the higher of the following:

  1. In accordance with the line extension policy;
  2. As determined in the service contract; or
  3. $300 (this amount is prorated if new service commences after start of service year)

Conditions of Service

Consumers having a business on the same premises with their home may include both the home and business on the same meter and be billed under the appropriate general service schedule; or, if the consumer prefers, they may make provision for two meters, in which case the home will be billed under this schedule and the usage for other purposes will be billed under the applicable general service schedule. 

Terms of Payment

Bills will be rendered monthly, in accordance with the rules and regulations.

After the 12th month of each service year, the Cooperative will calculate the amount due for the remainder of the service year in accordance with the foregoing rate and adjust if necessary on a subsequent billing. 

Payment of any amount due on a bill shall be in accordance with the Cooperative’s rules and regulations. Service year shall be from April 1 to April 1 of the following year. 

Billing demand shall be the highest one hour demand on an hour ended basis.
