Locating Underground Wires

Sedgwick County Electric Cooperative is a member of the Kansas Dig Safe One-Call system.

As a member, we are required to mark OUR electric lines within two full business days, starting the day after the call has been placed to Kansas One-Call System. How do you know whose line it is? Sedgwick County Electric Cooperative's lines end at the meter. Anything past the meter to the house, barn, etc., is the individual member's lines.

To have an individual member's lines marked, that individual needs to call us directly. There will be a service fee of $60.00, plus additional labor if it is a time consuming job.

Any questions, please feel free to call our office at 316-542-3131.
